Fruit popsicles on a tray for popsicle mold visual demo

How Many Popsicles Can Fit on a 600 × 400 mm Production Tray?

Tray output depends on mold footprint, stick direction and handling clearance—not only the raw 600 × 400 mm area.

Start from the Actual Mold Width

The cavity count and stick length determine how much tray space one mold really needs.

Stagger the Sticks Where Useful

Facing two single-row molds toward each other can make better use of the center space when the sticks are staggered.

Leave Clearance Around the Silicone

Operators need room to place, lift and remove molds. Filling the tray edge-to-edge often creates a layout that is difficult to use.

Example: Eight-Cavity Single Row

An eight-cavity mold around 32–33 cm wide can allow four molds on a 600 × 400 mm tray in an appropriate arrangement, giving 32 popsicles per tray.
